Terrific Zombie Strategy game

The graphics were top-notch, the gameplay was addicting, and there were so many things to do! I love zombie games (working on my own zombie comic) and as much as I like zom shooter games, this was a breath of fresh air to play instead. I actually found myself more concerned about succeeding at the game than I did trying to achieve medal, which in itself is quite the accomplishment! I'll even go play the original based on my positive experience with this game.

Superior Toss Game

I enjoyed so much about this game; graphics were great, nice ambient bg music, non-obnoxious sfx, upgrades system and scoring system. I enjoyed the details, especially the fact that the swing and the chain were upgraded separately. I prefer toss games that don't involve massive launches where you're moving so fast that you can't aim very efficiently; this one was ideal. Having to aim every bounce extended my interest in playing instead of just a 'let 'er rip' toss game. The only criticism I have is minor; the pogo health bar. I would've liked either a little less penalty (damage) for a less than perfect landing, or to have an upgrade you could buy to make your pogo stick take less damage as you progress. Great game.

Short and simple but entertaining

I know this is a retro game, and wasn't expecting eye-popping graphics or anything. I found the game enjoyable even though my gameplay experience was probably only about 20 minutes to complete the game with all medals. I would've rated the game higher if it had've been longer, if you were granted the ability to backtrack (in case you missed the coins the first time through), and perhaps if a bit more backstory was offered. I am a self-proclaimed medal whore, but I like at least a few medals (secret or otherwise) to be goals you have to actively pursue. All the medals for this game (except the 70 coins one) will be unlocked just by beating the game. But a solid effort nonetheless.

Faithful adaptation of a classic

So far all reviews have pretty much been complaints about the rules of the game. The creator is simply making a flash version of Battleship, not create an entirely new game, so if you have an issue with the amount of luck involved in locating the final 4 bombs, your issue is with the original pencil/paper game that's over 100 years old.

As for the game, I thought it was a good flash adaptation. Clean looking flash, nice sfx. I like that it offers an auto-arrange for your ships if you're just playing on easy this is ideal because perfect ship placement isn't necessary to win. The AI is going to pick squares in an increasingly efficient manner based on which difficulty setting you've chosen, some reviews have mention that the AI is predictable. Well, the most efficient manner to search for ships in a square grid is going to be the same every time so long as the dimensions of the board stay the same.

I really liked the game, thought it was well-made and bug-free. I thought the medal for 40% accuracy on Challenging was a reasonable goal for a medal, would've like to have seen a few more medals but that's my only criticism. I expected Battleship, and that's exactly what I got from this game.

Great playability

Well-made game, between all of the dungeons, sidequests, and the monster 50 lvl cave there's plenty to do. I love the fact you can reset AP to customize your parties' skills, and the fact that you can power level by fighting at a higher lvl of the dungeon means you can equip higher level equipment, too. My only complaint is that once you've beaten level 25 or so there are no other sidequests for AP although Zombie Defense and Random Dungeon remain. I wish I knew what the last medal was, I have all the rest!

The dopest dope you've ever smoked!!
